Before I tell you about Pamela’s Products Whenever Bars…. A song
It’s Not that Easy being Gluten Free
(sung to the tune of It’s Not that Easy Being Green)
It’s not that easy being gluten free
Having to ask friend to check those labels, please
When I think it could be nicer eating bread, or pizza, or cake
Or something so delicious like that
It’s not easy being gluten free
It seems you miss out on so so many ordinary things
And people do not invite you over
Plus you’re not eating out
Airplane food is deadly for you
Froot loops aren’t fun
But Gluten free’s a healthy thing
And Gluten free’s now cool and friendly-like
And Gluten free can be nom like a cupcake
Or refreshing like a beer
Or sweet like a cookie
When Gluten free is all there is to be
It could make you wonder why
But why wonder why wonder
I am Gluten Free, and I’ll do fine
I’m healthy, and I think that’s what I want to be

Why do I like these bars so much?
It’s inevitable that I will be somewhere, on any given day, where it turns out that I cannot eat. School events, corporate “continental breakfasts”, flights, food courts. Why play Russian roulette with my innards when it’s so much easier to carry a snack?
Pamela’s Product Bars are yummy. So yummy that my gluten loving son gobbled up half a box of lemon blueberry bars before I busted him and told him they are MINE.
As if all that’s not enough, these bars are wholesome and healthy as well.
Disclosure: Pamela’s Products sent me the Whenever Bars to try out. I received no compensation for this post. I’m a long time fan of Pamela’s, and regularly purchase their cake and bread mixes (I’ve even made challah with the bread mix). I’ll be adding these bars to my grocery list – perfect breakfast on the go.
