Here’s a simple twist to perk up your ho hum Trader Joes mix muffins. In all fairness they have marvelous muffins but my kids get bored quickly so I have to get creative.
Pumpkin muffins are one of my family’s favorite variety of Trader Joe’ s muffins. Here’s how I made them extra special.
1. I followed the mix directions
2. I sliced three marshmallows into quarters, and topped off each muffin with a marshmallow slice
3. I sprinked a little decorative sugar on top of each muffin
4. I baked according to package directions, yielding a perfect toasty marshmallow puff on each muffin
The amount of extra sugar/marshmallow is not so much, but it sure was enough to make these muffins fly off the plates!
