Are you ready for this? It’s going to be super simple. It might rock your world. Yep. If you like olives, and tuna – this might be the best tuna salad you’ve ever had. Ever.
It’s that good.
I have this for lunch quite often, along with some gluten free toast or a gluten free bagel (Udi’s makes great ones. So great that I am disclosing I have zero affiliation and have linked gratuitously).
Combine :
- 1 can tuna
- 1tbsp (or as much as you desire) Trader Joes Olive Tapenade. Note: Get the straight up olive one. The red pepper and olive one is not as good in this.
- 1 tsp your fave mayo Note: I like this Best Foods Olive Oil blend, which uses modified food starch (a gluten red flag) but does me the favor of letting me know that it’s not wheat tainted. It’s gluten free. Thanks!
Mix it up in a pretty bowl. Garnish with cucumber slices. Serve with toast. Lunch!

Thanks for rocking my work with this super simple recipe. I think I may just store some tuna, mayo & olives in my drawer at work for quick lunches or late night munchies. Thank you!

I use non-fat plain Greek yogurt instead of Mayo – adds protein, has fewer calories, and has no fat. I also like to add just 1/4 teaspoon of Sriracha sauce.
