Thanks to The Disneyland Park for inviting me to be their guest for the premiere of Mickey and the Magical Map and this reception afterwards. And thanks to Kat for hanging out with me and making this party even more fun!
Some parties are more magical than others. A private party at Disneyland, where an entire “land” is shut down, is like a dream come true. It’s the sort of thing I’ve always wanted to witness, and I was thrilled to attend as press and wander and take pictures at this reception after the opening of Mickey and The Magical Map.
Couches and tables were brought in for guests. Royal purple seems apropo in this setting.
Glowing blue “Mapmakers Martinis” were the theme drink of the evening. The trees glowed almost eerily with majestic purple uplighting
Even the cupcakes sparkled. There was nothing hidden about the Mickey shaped treats
Also served: Mini PBJ sandwiches topped with marshmallows, Hotdogs, Mac and the Evil Queen’s Watercress Salad which had a definite kick.
Fantasyland was extra enchanted for this occasion!
