SoCal offers the best beaches and idyllic weather. Yet it’s easy to lose track of how lucky we are to live in California, when you live, and work here. Even though it’s only a few miles from home – there are whole months that pass without my sticking my feet in the sand. Every time I go back it’s a revelation and I vow, once again to get to the beach more often!
This summer we vowed not only to go to the beach – but to make it special.
My girls, son, and I spent a day at the Pacific Edge Hotel’s Bungalows in Laguna Beach, watching the tide, soaking up the sun, and relaxing in a chic beachfront day suite. From my comfortable perch on the deck, I could see Andrew playing in the sand with new friends. My girls whispered and giggled as teens do as they scribble their names in the sand. I de-stressed, absorbed, and took it all in.

Enjoy ocean front dining and order from the Deck restaurant conveniently located on the property. This Tuna Poke was fresh and divine. The food at the deck has a delicious diverse menu for foodies.
This beachfront is ideal for intimate gatherings with family and friends. Our Teenfluentials had a blast in this mini hidden paradise.
Each of the 5 chic Pacific Edge Bungalows were designed and decorated by local brands and groups, reflecting iconic California beach style.
You can rent the bungalows for the day and bring up to 10 guests along to share the experience.
Along with stunning interior décor, each Bungalow includes a comfortable living room that overlooks the ocean, a VIP Bungalow Host, a private bathroom with shower, bar area, valet parking, catered food and beverages, and a private deck area.
Bungalow day rates start at $250 for weekdays and $450 on weekends, not including food & beverage minimums, and are subject to availability. Rates vary by season.
The private decks are also ideal for a small celebration with family and friends.

I would love a daycation at Pacific Edge in Laguna Beach. Since we love north of LA (in the Valley) we don’t get out much to Laguna & there is SO much to see & do there. Staying at the Pacific Edge, even just for one day sounds like a perfect summer get-away!!

Getting ready for school next month is costly and takes a lot of energy that we are getting short on. Would love to take them on a relaxing beach staycation – they love swimming, fishing (have never shore fished before!) and playing in the sand! This would be just perfect for ALL of us.

I so need a daycation!! It’s been such a hectic and stressful summer for me looking for work and trying to get work.
