Show off your USA pride with a bit of red, white, and blue. However, don’t you dare pay for overpriced junk that is already dyed! Dye it yourself with Kool Aid Dye! All you need are a few of these white accessories!

Kool Aid dye is easy to make and dying items with it is so easy (and safe) that you can enlist help from your little ones. No need to worry about toxic chemicals and as an added bonus your “products” end up smelling pretty great.
In order to dye with Kool Aid you will need:
- Unsweetened concentrated packets of Kool Aid
- White Vinegar
- Rubber Bands
- Small bowls to dip in and/or squeeze bottles to squirt color onto items
- Iron (adults only please) to set the colors.
To make the dye, dissolve two packets in an ounce to an ounce and a half of vinegar. This dye will look vibrant but is going to fade over time and with washing, so start as strong as possible. Place rubber bands on your item and then either dip or squirt on your colors. Allow items to dry then set with an iron. Wash separately on gentle cycle to keep colors as bright as possible for as long as possible.
