The other day we were invited to a backyard movie night to celebrate a sweet little girl’s Birthday. I never like to go empty handed but these days my hands are full – I needed a super easy yet crazy cool item to take over with us. Being the weekend after the 4th of July, I had s’mores on the brain and was trying to figure out a way to incorporate the large square marshmallows I had left over.
Then it hit me, stick the large square marshmallow on a stick, dip it in melted chocolate chips, set it on a half graham cracker square. Boom. Done.
Wrap them in a sandwich sized lunch baggie and tie with a simple ribbon for elegant presentation. It’s all about presentation. Well most of the time, this dessert actually speaks for itself. No joke, just watch the faces of people as they take a bite…
Crazy easy (I did them all while baby wearing!) and indulgent beyond belief. They were a major hit at the party and not one was left. I even spotted one of the kids snag the last one and smuggle it to his mom’s purse for a later snack!
