Back in the 90s I stormed my way through Europe. On and off trains, in and out of clubs, up and down mountains.
My shoe of choice? Palladium.
I wasn’t a combat boot kind of girl. Too goth. But I had that artistic urban edge thing. Surplus army gear and anything I could personalize appealed to me. My canvas boots were comfy and adorned with sharpie sayings. They seemed to go with everything and in them I traveled far and wide!
I still love them. And I love seeing the shoes of my youth on my own youth. My 4 year old scales imaginary mountains and kicks some bad guy ass in his Palladium boots.
I think it’s time to order another pair for myself. I have places to go and things to do!

you do not speak of their durability or affordability. I know this is a long forgotten post from 2012 but this is less of a review and more of a reflection. were there downsides? Can they be cleaned easily? Did you have issues of any kind? Rubbing or Zipper/button/ lace up problems?
These shoes were (and still are) great. Wore like iron, comfy and long lasting!
