The beautiful Naot Kayla sandals came in the mail. I’d been anxiously awaiting their arrival, thanks to Naot, who generously sent them for review.
Then they walked out of my life almost as fast as they shipped in.

I remembered the first pair of Naot Sandals I’d tried on, many years ago and I sighed. My regular size was a little teeny bit small on me and they fit her perfectly and she was giddy. Who was I to say no? Usually we fight over shoe styles. Rarely do we fight over ownership of the same pair of shoes. For once I was happy to lose! Even if it means I have to order another pair for myself and face the agony of indecision again – so many great colors to choose from!
Kayla, the sandal pictured above on me and on my daughter’s feet below, is turning Sweet 16 this year (coincidentally, so is my daughter.) I love that these classic sandals appeal to her as much as to me.
What I love about Kayla, and the factor that I’m sure has kept it a constant seller for the last 16 years is how easy these are to wear. They can be dressed up or down. My daughter wore them with jeans when we went whale watching. I’d wear them with a maxi dress. The low wedge heel and narrow profile gives them a more polished/dressy look than many “comfort” sandals and ensures that they really pair well with almost anything and everything, stylewise.
But best of all, they feel great. I cannot stress that enough.
I’m a huge fan of Naot footwear for a bunch of reasons. They are expertly and ethically made (you can read more about what I had to say when I reviewed these Naot boots) and their comfort is unsurpassed. These are my traveling shoes! I can walk all day in Naot footwear and have done so everywhere from NYC to Vegas to Washington DC and Dublin Ireland in the boots I reviewed this fall. I keep reaching for them because they are so lightweight and so reliable.
I’m sure I will reach for my Naot sandals when I travel in warmer months and you can be sure I’ll have a pair stashed in my luggage for my trip to Israel this spring!
