It really doesn’t matter how early we start our Halloween costume shopping.We always end up at Party City.
Sure we peruse multiple costume catalogs and sites but even when we do get the orders placed in time (and don’t change our minds, like, fifteen times!) we end up at Party City for the wig, the glasses, the tights, the shoes… etc.
Party City just has the best stuff and the bonus is that you can try it on. Trying it on is so important.
We made our yearly pilgramage to Party City this year and I thought I’d shoot some video. My husband was out of town so he didn’t get to come with us.
Halloween is tomorrow but guess what? It’s not too late to order a costume online for delivery tomorrow. If you are close to a store, you can still head over. There’s plenty of costumes left and they are open late. Trust me, I’ve been there on Halloween morning more than once!
Disclosure: Party City generously sent me some costumes to review this year. But they actually got here a couple of days after our annual pilgrimage. No biggie. The boys had their hearts set on what they would be. The girls crafted costumes for Halloween night but loved the costumes that were sent (Jester & Greek Goddess) for parties. I like that they were not too suggestive. Teen girl costumes are tricky! I’d like to say these high quality costumes will be perfect for next year but who am I kidding. I know what is in store next year too. Another trip to Party City. We are such creatures of habit.
