There’s just no reason to play regular versions of your favorite games when you can play GIANT versions, is there? Like Giant Jenga.
I think my fascination with giant versions of games and toys began in Mrs Forsythe’s kindergarten class. There was a set of ginormous wooden building blocks that you could make actual houses out of and until one fell on my head, they were my favorite thing ever.
Thanks to Jenga for sending a giant version of this classic game for review. All opinions are our own!
Giant Jenga operates exactly like the smaller version, except it is more of a whole body sport at this scale. There’s so much more drama in toppling over a four foot tower of giant Jenga Blocks than there is to a foot high stack of little ones. Note: I don’t recommend standing under the Jenga tower, take it from my kindergarten self.
Games like this are a great gift for the holidays because you can take them out of the box and get the whole family involved immediately. Everyone, from your 5 yr old to your 95 yr old grandpa, can play this game. No crazy rules, no batteries, no special skills required.
This is also a game that is sure to be enjoyed year round. Take it out to the back yard for a barbecue in the summer, bring it to the living room for family game night in the winter. It’s easy to store and sturdy enough to be a family favorite that gets passed down to the next generation. Who knows what video games and stuff will look like by then. But this game should stand the test of time!
