Thank you Villa Del Palmar for hosting Momfluential at your resort. All opinions are my own.

When I plan trip, I usually do a great deal of research to make sure my travel experience is memorable and worth my dollar. Our family life is hectic, so when we take a vacation we like to disconnect and spend quality time together.

Choosing the right resort is critical to the outcome of a family vacation.

Villa Del Palmar made me feel welcomed and extremely comfortable. But there’s more to it than that. This is not a “vacation factory”. This is a resort where every individual matters, and vacations are customized and hand crafted, not cranked out en masse.

It’s a very special atmosphere. The hotel’s generosity and philanthropy was unique and nothing I had ever seen before.

  • Villa Del Palmar is not just a workplace for the dedicated staff that works there. The resort provides continuing education for their employees including classes designed to help employees earn High School diplomas, for those who have not had the opportunity.
  • The resort is  eco friendly and environmentally conscientious. It functions entirely on natural solar panels and natural energy.
  • Villa Del Palmar participates in the Make a Wish Foundation.

I was especially touched by the lantern ceremony I experienced there. Resort guests and staff gather once each week to celebrate the wonderful moments from the past week and share a wish with others in a unique ceremony.

Luminaries are lit and float symbolically into the sky.

We were asked to write our hopes and wishes on our luminaries. It was a special moment of reflection for me and an unforgettable highlight during my stay.

Villa Del Palmar also made me welcome in my room and at the table.  More on this in my next post!

To be continued….
