I have a little coffee problem. I’m addicted to venti Americanos. There are a lot of coffees I can brew at home, that are tasty and provide the caffeine I crave. But they are not, after all, a venti Americano.
I was thrilled to review the Starbucks Verismo and put it to the test. I brewed a double shot Americano and was thrilled with the results. Totally tastes like the barista made it.
The verismo is well priced for a coffee maker that produces such great results, but it is not entirely inexpensive to brew coffee at home. It’s about half to 2/3 the price of getting coffee out.
Still it’s a savings and I can have coffee in my pajamas so I’m giving the Verismo brewing system the thumbs up. I appreciate the versatility it has to brew espresso and cappucino, which my other pod based coffeemakers don’t really do well. Espresso came out nice and frothy for me.
