My kids are growing. Fast. All four of them. We’re cruising through clothing sizes at an alarming speed. The hand-me-down turnover rate is so fast, it’s confusing. By the time the laundry is done, it’s ready for a younger sib. Who knows where to put anything away anymore?
So we second hand it. We recycle our clothes. Selling and shopping at resale places like Children’s Orchard has just become a habit over the years. Right now it makes more sense than ever.
Above is just a little bit of what we got (for about $200) on our last second-hand shopping spree. The haul included four pairs of designer jeans, at least a dozen tees, seven dresses, and four pairs of shorts. All brand names, all in good condition. Hard to beat that!
And as a bonus, now that we got thrifty with it, we can still afford summer camp. So we’ll have somewhere to wear all these “new” clothes.
