Has this conversation ever happened to you?
“Mom – can I borrow your iPad?”
“Sure, but only if you turn down the volume”
“But then I can’t hear!”
“How about your wear earphones?”
“They won’t stay in my ears!”
Thanks to Etymotics for providing my son with a set of ETY kids earphones for review. All opinions are my own.
My 7 year old is frequently borrowing a device. He likes to use my iPad to compose music in the car. At home he occasionally watches a movie or plays video games. Our house is loud and busy. Earphones are a great way to keep the din to a reasonable level, but regular earphones just won’t work for my little guy. They don’t fit properly and I worry about them damaging his hearing if/when he cranks the volume. Finding a great pair of earphones for kids is tough!
ETY•Kids safe-listening earphones are engineered for safe sound output while maintaining Etymotic’s exceptional sound quality. By controlling earphone sensitivity, it is not necessary to restrict the volume setting on the player.
What a relief. I’m so glad that there’s finally a lightweight portable set of earphones that I can feel good about handing to my son. Also… the silence is golden.
