Robot Birthday Party

It’s ironic that my second son wanted a Robot themed party for his fourth birthday, as this was the exact same theme his big brother had for the same age.

My younger son put a spin on his Robot theme – he wanted it to be a “Robot Radio Dance Party”

That took care of one major activity. I created a large Robot Radio with candy buttons and and slinky arms & placed my ipod and speakers inside of him.

We came up with a few more activities including a Robot Creation Station where kids crafted robots out of recycled materials and stickers.

Pin the Antenna on the Robot made all the kids giggle

For snacks we served:

  • Nuts and Bolts (assorted shaped pretzels)
  • Gears (Crackers)
  • Rocket Fuel (frozen Pops)

One of the activities we did at our last Robot party, but did not have time for this year was making robot costumes. I’m sharing this one here as well because the kids had so much fun doing a robot parade in their costumes at that party. It only required boxes, stickers, duct tape and googly eyes to accomplish.

I’ve created separate how-to posts for the Marshmallow Pops & Robot Cake we served

For the goodie bags I used a plain little black treat sack that I dressed up with silver duck tape and stickers.  Here’s what went into them:

I hope this gives you some inspiration for a Robot Party of your own. Such a fun theme!
