When my son (now 5) was an infant we tried every carseat. Some were too big, some were too small. Some were too heavy and some were hard to fasten in our stroller.
Our Maxi Cosi was just perfect. From the on trend colors to the easy to clean and comfortable fabric, it was the backdrop for all of our travels for my son’s first year. I was only sad when he outgrew it!
When Maxi Cosi asked me to review their new Mico AP I was thrilled that I had just the tester. My next door neighbor just had a baby boy. She had already purchased a carseat, prior to the release of the Mico AP, but this gave her something to compare to.

The carseat which comes in such pretty colors, has adapters available for use with many common/popular strollers including Baby Jogger, Bugaboo, Bumbleride, iCandy, Jeep, Maclaren, Mamas & Papas, Micralite, Mountain Buggy, Phil&Teds, Quinny, Stokke, UPPAbaby, and Valco Baby.
My neighbor reported that her son loves the carseat and so does she. It’s got a slightly larger footprint on the base than her other carseat, which might make for a tighter squeeze in small cars, but the light weight for mom and comfort for baby make it a winning choice.

You need to review the manual and watch a video on how to use this car seat. Your baby is not strapped in appropriately and with the clip around the baby’s stomach rather than her chest, if in an accident, you are going to cause severe damage to her internal organs.
The photo was taken with the baby in the carseat in a car Ashley but you are correct, it’s very important to position the straps and clips properly!
