This past weekend Knott’s Soak City at Knott’s Berry Farm, in Orange County California opened for the Summer Season. With a splash!

This family friendly & affordable waterpark is fun for kids (and parents) of all ages. There is plenty for littler kids to do in calmer play areas and older kids and parents will thrill on more adventurous slides like the Pacific spin.

The tide pool is the perfect place to catch a wave, but I was happy to float in the Lazy River. I’ve never been much of a water park fan prior to this, but I could get used to this sort of thing. We had a lot of fun!

Soak City provides lockers for rent, as well as cabanas for groups who are spending the day. There are changing facilities for guests. For more information on rates and schedules, consult the Knott’s Soak City web site.

Disclosure: I was invited to visit the park with my family as a member of the press, in order to facilitate this write up.
