Close to the Grove, in LA, Samsung operates a magical space that they call the Samsung Studio.
Part showroom, part TV studio, part playground, this is a supercool event space that plays hosts to celeb-hosted live events and playgroups. Visit and you’ll have the chance to play with (and literally check out – for an overnight test drive) some of the hottest new tech from the brand.
The event that I was invited to was designed around highlighting the latest Samsung Appliances, in particular their refrigerators and washing machines. We got a tour of the appliances and then were treated to a cooking lesson from Food Network’s Chef Marcel Vigneron.
Reality starts Bill and Giuliana Rancic cooked alongside us as we made ourselves at home, reaching into the fridge for prepped ingredients, and whipped up a dinner for two.
Samsung’s generously sized and cleverly arranged refrigerators make it easy to store find everything you are looking for. It made my OCD side very very happy.
Meanwhile, I finally learned how to make scallops. This recipe was easy and quite delicious.
I’ll admit that I am not the most coordinated person when it comes to cooking seafood. I always seem to overdo or underdo things.
These came out GREAT. I had to share Chef Marcel Vigneron’s Seared Scallops recipe! If I can do it, you can too. My pal and contributor Dadfluential definitely agreed that this came out great!
