Do you enjoy romantic comedies?
If so, you must see Home Again in theaters September 8th!
In anticipation of the release, I headed to the Four Seasons in Beverly Hills to a screen the new movie. I also had the chance to enjoy a lovely cocktail hour with Reese Witherspoon, who shines in this romantic comedy.
Life can be messy and unpredictable. Home Again is about love, family, and taking chances.
Thank you Open Road Films for inviting me to screen Home Again. All opinions are my own.
In Home Again, Reese Witherspoon stars as Alice Kinney, a woman who is recently separated from her husband (Michael Sheen). Alice decides to start her life over by moving back to LA with her two young daughters.
On her 40th birthday, Alice meets young aspiring filmmakers who happen to need to a place to live. Alice agrees to let the guys stay in her guest quarters temporarily, but the arrangement takes an unexpected turn of events.
Alice’s unlikely new family and a budding romance all come to a crashing halt when her ex-husband shows up, suitcase in hand.
During the film screening, I laughed and shed some tears. This new modern film is about a pivotal moment in Alice’s life. She is trying her best to keep it together for her children, and finds herself falling into old habits. She is pulled into several different directions and is torn.
Most moms are going to relate to this.
Reese Witherspoon was radiant and delightful in person.
I asked her what advice she had for working moms, and how to balance their lives and careers?
Reese said, “Well I think it’s really important that you always focus on the kids. But it’s important that the mom feels good, then the kids feel good. And I think that’s what this movie is about, making those choices in your life.”
I would definitely see Home Again~ again. This film is perfect for a date night or girls night out.
Go see it in theaters September 8th!
