Ever wonder why your shoes have to match?
I can see the argument for not wearing a stiletto on one foot and a flip flop on the other, but really, why do your shoes have to look exactly alike?
Chooze shoes are not only super comfy and adorable, they literally promote out of the box thinking, with their made to mismatch designs. When I saw this pair of slip on sneakers, I knew I had to get them for my 7 yr old son. I thought he might have a hard time with there. We have a joke in my house, we call my son “Symmetrical Leo” as he has always had a preference for perfectly symmetrical designs. In kindergarten his teacher would give him tile sets and marvel at the three feet wide creations he came up with. I was curious, therefore, how he might react to these deliberately different shoes.
He was delighted!
Instantly these became his favorites. “Sometimes it’s ok to be different Mom,” he said. “These aren’t symmetrical but they are a perfect pair.”
And off he went, leaving me to photograph an empty box.
It’s not just the shoes that are well designed and thought out here. Even the box is clever. The top is meant to be colored and there is an inspiring quote on the side. A customer feedback message on the inside gives you two different email addresses to choose from – happy or sad.
This brand may be my favorite kid’s shoe brand to date. They made me smile, they made us think, and the minute my son put his Chooze shoes on, he took off running and didn’t take them off till the end of the day.
Thanks to Chooz for introducing us to our new faves. All opinions are my own.
