Every couple needs a little action and adventure to “spice things up.” Sometimes that includes getting out of our comfort zone and trying new things. Nothing awesome ever happens in your comfort zone!
There’s a few items I’ve wanted to check off my bucket list, and I recently had the chance to push myself.
Twentieth Century Fox hosted a “Keeping Up With The Joneses” inspired “Spy-ce- Camp.” The fun filled day included indoor sky-diving, a dart clinic, and attending a sophisticated cooking class. My experience in LA could have not been more adventurous!
Thank you Twentieth Century Fox for inviting me to” Spy-ce- Camp.” All opinions are my own.
An ordinary suburban couple (Zach Galifianakis, Isla Fisher) finds it’s not easy keeping up with the Joneses (Jon Hamm, Gal Gadot) – their impossibly gorgeous and ultra-sophisticated new neighbors – especially when they discover that Mr. and Mrs. “Jones” are covert operatives.
In this new film film, The Gaffneys go on a wild ride with the Joneses. My escapades in Hollywood were similarly unusual and exciting.
My first venture began with a visit at iFly in Hollywood. I’ve always dreamt spreading my wings and sky-diving. Indoor sky diving may seem a little tamer than actually jumping out of a plane but trust me… it will get your heart thumping. A perfect way to spy-ce it up with your mate!
I did it! Sky-diving is now off my bucketlist…..
Next, we made our way to Residuals Bar for a Dart clinic, to learn how to shoot like a spy! In no time I played darts like a pro. Nobody is going to mess with me now!
Second item off my bucket list… check. check.
Last, we we learned the “Art of Seduction” with renowned chef Saverio Posarelli. Every marriage needs a little “Sugar and Spice” to keep things interesting and flavorful.
Our delicious menu included a Crisp Fall Salad, Pumpkin Stuffed Risotto, and a Fruit Lingue Di Gatto dessert.
Try not to drool….This Fruit”Lingue Di Gatto” dessert was simply divine.
Another item off my list… check. check. check.
I am confident my newly acquired skills that I picked up during my day of “Spy-ce-Camp” will come to good use in my life AND my relationship. *wink wink*
Now I’m ready to take on some new adventures, although this may be hard to top!
You don’t want to miss “Keeping Up with The Joneses” in theaters October 21st!
This film is rated PG13
