There’s a new special treat for kids and parents in the Southland. Snow play that you don’t have to pack chains and trek up a mountain for!
Legoland is hosting a new feature for the holidays: Snow! Not only is there a fabulous snow play yard where you can throw snowballs and decorate snowmen (with Lego features, of course), there is also a fantastic snowclad tubing run that offers thrilling fun for all. Snowplay in San Diego. Now I have seen it all!
Tree lighting ceremonies, Lego Santa appearances and fireworks round out the offerings from Legoland this season, along with holiday food treats like Churros and Pretzels and brats with sauerkraut.
Legoland’s Sealife Aquarium has special shows and features for the holidays as well.
It’s always fun to take a trip to Legoland and I suggest you stretch it out and book at stay at the Legoland Hotel while you are there. That way you can avoid rushing and kids and parents will all get a welcome break! My kids love this hotel so much that they ask to stay there even without going to the park. They just want to play in the giant Lego pit and ride the Disco elevator and spend time in one of the themed rooms with awesome kids quarters.
We particularly love eating at Bricks Cafe when we visit, whether we are staying at the hotel or not. The prices are reasonable and there is something for everyone – even the picky eaters. Click here for more info about #HolidaySnowdays at Legoland and the Legoland Hotel.
