September 29 is National Coffee Day and Starbucks is celebrating with a very special coffee – Ethiopia - crafted to honor the birthplace of my favorite brew. Coffee has been a part of family life for centuries in Ethiopia and the process of enjoying coffee has evolved into a ceremony, starting with the pan roasting of the beans.
From the site:
“ An exquisite blend with a reverence for the ritual of coffee, honoring Ethiopia’s bountiful legacy. With a velvety soft texture and floral, peppery spice notes, this is our tribute to the birthplace of coffee.”
On National Coffee Day Starbucks will be conducting tastings of Ethiopia and giving away commemorative mugs (while supplies last) to customers who purchase a pound of this very special coffee.
I’m celebrating too… Starbucks has given me the chance to give away a special coffee care package to one of my lucky readers.
This package includes my new favorite mug – the Anniversary Siren Mug (I’ve already bought four of these…), a pound of Ethiopia whole bean coffee and a $25 gift card. Note: This is not the same mug that you will receive with purchase on Sept 29.
To enter to win this amazing package, leave a comment below. Bonus entry for following me on Instagram and leaving a comment on my photo of my Anniversary Siren Mug!
Comments will close October 6th at 11:59 pm and a winner will be announced October 7th.
