Surviving the Winter Months With Kids in Close Quarters

My family is very fortunate to live in Southern California, where the winters are mild. But we do have our share of winter storms! Like typical Californians, we bundle up and run for cover. My children, used to active outdoor lifestyles, can be quite tricky to contain when this happens. How I long for the finished basements of my youth.

I wrote a List of Boredom Busting Indoor Activities for the Goldfish Smiles recently.  It’s especially relevant in light of recent winter storms!  Here are several activities that will keep your kids busy and you from going insane, in the event you are all cooped up together.

Got any other good ideas for winter storm boredom survival?

Don’t forget to tweet at me and at Goldfish Smiles if you find these tactics useful!
