Here we go, here we go, satellite radio! It’s back to school with the lot of them. Some new trends and preferences from my three kiddos below:
Teenfluential:
- Giant Purses are the new cool school bag. This bag is a discontinued style from Namaste (made for knitting). We found similar bags at TJ Maxx
- Skinny jeans still going strong. My teen’s legs get longer every time I look at her. Which is why I am so glad that there are such inexpensive jeans at Forever 21
- Ruffles & Feathers make everything better. We found lots of clothes with ruffles and jewelry with feathers at Charlotte Russe
Girlfluential:
- Sillybandz! They took a while to catch on but now that they have, we’re up to our eyeballs in these fun shaped rubber band bracelets.
- Camis from Justice. A tween girl cannot have too many camis for layering
- Jeggings & Studded Jacket from Nordstrom Kids
- Rolling Roxy Backpack
Boyfluential
- Star Wars Sneakers from Stride Rite
- Mabel’s Labels (Note: We already “lost” a lunchbox today – hopefully not for good as it was labeled!)
- Polos from The Children’s Place - economical and super soft, this is an easy to wear school day staple
Disclosure: We received shoes for review for back to school from Stride Rite. We exchanged a pair that did not fit and ponied up a little extra for the Star Wars ones.
