Heirloom Tomatoes from My Garden

Check out the swag I had waiting for me when I got home from BlogHer 10. They grew while I was away. And yes, they taste even better than they look. All I did was crop that photo.

Here is what my pal Stacey did with them:

1. She sliced three kinds of tomatoes.

2. She sliced up some soft fresh mozzerella.

3. She snipped some basil leaves on top of the whole thing.

4. She drizzled the whole affair with olive oil and balsamic, tossed lightly and then  sprinkled on kosher salt.

Simple, humble, scrumptious.  What a treat!

    Yes, come on over. We honestly have WAY too many of these and a few more varieties as well. Went tomato crazy. Waiting on the second round of cucumbers now so I can make Israeli salad.
