Top Ten Signs You May Need Your Own Reality Show

If only you had a dime for every time you heard the phrase… “Your life should be a reality show!”

Could your friends, neighbors and Great Aunt Edna be right?  Here’s some sure signs that they may be on to something. You might need your own show if:

  1. You sent out  “Change of Address Cards” when you moved… to a new URL
  2. You refer to your children as your entourage, and birthday party goodies as “swag bags”
  3. You have your own hashtag on Twitter
  4. Your wardrobe at the last conference you attended, was provided by your corporate sponsor
  5. Your kids have facebook fan pages of their own, separate from your “regular” profile
  6. You’ve given birth live, via Twitter
  7. You assume everyone recognizes you from your avatar
  8. You think traffic is a GOOD thing
  9. You’ve petitioned the DMV to allow an @symbol on your vanity plates
  10. You refer to yourself in the third person… using your twitter/blog name. Example: “Momfluential loves you people”

All kidding aside…

I’m currently working on an exciting new project!  It’s an unscripted television series about online/social media moms. I cannot say too much about it at this point – it’s still in the preliminary phases. But I will say this: I think it’s going to be amazing. Maybe more so, because your friends, family and Aunt Edna were right, and you need to be in it.

We’re going to be doing some preliminary filming and casting in New York City during BlogHer. If you’d like to be a part of this, or if you’d like to sign yourself up for our interest list for future casting opportunities, full submission guidelines are on the Project Mom Casting Facebook page.

Such a fabulous idea… I’m in, though I won’t be at Blogher. I’ll be in Colorado enjoying what I call, Autumn. I wish you so much luck with this endeavor and I’ll keep checkin’ in to see how it’s going.
