Wordless Wednesday: Blogger Bath at EVO

This is my daughter. She doesn’t normally succumb to peer pressure. Except when that peer pressure is coming from a bunch of famous mom bloggers at a conference high in the Utah mountains. Or perhaps it was my seeming fuddy duddyness, and her teen-y desire to live in contrast. Either way, I think this was an important moment for her. A Blogger baptism, or in our case, mikveh. She was in very cool company in that pool. Can you name the other bloggers in this photo?
Note: No, I did not jump in. I am not a fan of cold and wet but if that is your liberating place, I will say “go for it” to you, same as I did to my daughter!  I might even try and scrounge up a towel for you…

This makes me smile – your daughter is lovely – good for her for being so brave. And you were right – it was both cold and wet – especially getting out. I am in the picture – far left – black and white stripes, back to the camera. I’m talking to the fabulous Jenny on the Spot and Jyl is behind your sweet girl :) Thank you for sharing this with me!

It was wonderful to meet your daughter and the whole fam – can’t wait to see what inspiration the Evo experience brings to her blog!

I’m so glad I was there… standing dry on the sidelines taking pictures!!! I too count being cold as one of my LEAST favorite things, so jumping in wasn’t happening for me, but it was a moment and a story that will be told for a VERY long time!!!
