Summer Plans, Learning from Each Other!

One of the things I have decided to work on this summer is my photography skills. I’m going to work with my 13 yo daughter Marly. She’s actually the one who took this picture. She has an amazing eye and makes it looks easy.  This photo would be up on her blog, not mine if I made more time to help her with posting her hundreds of beautiful photos.  It’s ok with her that I am posting it here! Taking pics is a snap for her, but putting them on wordpress, not so much. We’re going to get  our acts together this summer and learn from each other. My plan is to enter contests like the weekly one at I Heart Faces, participate in more Wordless Wednesdays and to sign up for picture summer with Tracey Clark. I’m also going to beg my friends who are so skilled with a camera to go out to lunch with us some time and let us absorb their knowledge. Yvonne, Julie, I mean you!

Any more suggestions?

This photo was taken a year and a half ago at Crystal Cove Beach in Newport. Time surely flies. The smile is the same.

[...] Summer Plans, Learning from Each Other – I really like the idea of stopping the madness for a moment to decide on a few things to accomplish during the summer. I also love the idea that parents and children can learn from each other – and this is true for younger kids too. [...]
