I’ve been watching this fun, fast, and informative series on Vlogging from Extraordinary Mommy Danielle Smith with much interest. Danielle dishes practical advice in digestible doses.
This recent lesson is the “just swallow it down like medicine” one for me. I almost don’t want to watch myself on video because I see so many flaws that it makes me freeze up the next time I am faced with a camera. It’s almost better if someone else tells me what to/not to do, edits it all for me, and I don’t have to witness it myself. I’m fine on camera as long as I don’t have to ever see myself!
I know I’m not the only one who has issues with seeing themselves on camera. It is, in fact, the biggest barrier to my vlogging activity. That and my big hair, but as Danielle pointed out in an earlier video, there are hats for that!
How do you feel about facing your flaws on camera?
