15 Year Sentence for Cyber Bullying

I just got done reading an article by Techmama Beth Blecherman that has me chilled to the bone. It tells the tale of a 19 yo boy (man?) who was just sentenced to 15yrs for cyber bullying. The case proves the willingness of the court to take this issue seriously, but but also perhaps illustrates how not seriously this issue is taken by our kids. Beth asks several insightful questions and calls for solutions from her readers. It’s a must read for any mom of kids over 7.

    Yet another reason we need to be watching what our kids are doing online. Cyberbullying will never end until the parents of the bullies know what their kids are doing and care enough to stop it. Though this kid was 19, I guarantee he had been doing it for years.
