First Toyota, Now Honda

Looks like auto manufacturer Honda is jumping on the “uh oh” bandwagon today.  Honda has just announced the recall of  438,000 new vehicles (on top of the recall of over 600,000 Honda Fit Models recalled two weeks ago). Basic math: 400,000 + 600,000 = a million. Welcome to the millions of recalls club Honda!

The most recently recalled vehicles are said to have a defect in their air bags that could possibly cause a failure to deploy. Which would really suck, if say,  they were hit by a runaway Toyota with a faulty accelerator and brakes. Honda picked a great time to announce the recall. Sort of like your child telling you they spilled juice on the couch, right after their sibling has Sharpie-ed all the walls. Right about now, Ford is looking like the really good kid.

A little levity but of course this is no laughing matter. If your car is affected, please take steps to remedy!
