Bigelow v. Cameron, Who’ll Get Custody of Oscar?

The Oscar nominees have been announced and for two directors in particular, it’s on! Kathryn Bigelow’s 9 nominations for The Hurt Locker pit her squarely against her ex, James Cameron, with 9 nominations for Avatar.
Thus far the judges have been somewhat divided. Kathryn took home the Director’s Guild of America and Cameron got the Golden Globe.
Cameron and Bigelow have some competition for Oscar. There are 10 films up for that award (a record, up from the usual 5) including: District 9, Up, Inglourious Basterds, The Blind Side, Up In The Air, A Serious Man, An Education and Precious: Based On the Novel Push By Sapphire.
